Agama Recap

The Agama is a small lizard that lives in Asia, Africa, and Europe. There are 60 species across the world and 37 across Africa. They are 12.5- 30 cm (5 in- 1 ft)  long and eat small mammals and reptiles, flowers, grasses, fruit, seeds, berries, and eggs of lizards and birds. The female Agama's fur colour is green or brown and the male's is either brown, grey, red, blue, or yellow. Agama's are sometimes called rainbow lizards and have a lifespan of around 25- 28 years. They live in savannas, arid regions, and rocky outcrops.
