Agama Basic Facts

The Agama is a reptile (lizard) that lives in Africa, Asia, and Europe. 60 species of the Agama live across that territory and 37 across just Africa. They're 12.5-30 cm (5 in-1 ft) in length. The Agama eats lots of food like small mammals, small reptiles, flowers, grasses, fruit, seeds, berries, and eggs of other lizards and birds. The female and male Agama's have different scale colours. The  scales are green or brown and the male's are brown, grey, red, blue, or yellow. Agama's are sometimes known as rainbow lizards because of their colourful scales. They have a lifespan of around 25-28 years. This animal lives in parts of Africa, Europe, and Asia that have savannas, rocky outcrops, and arid regions.
