African Wild Dog Recap

The African Wild Dog is a mammal that mostly lives in Southern Africa and Eastern Africa. They have four nicknames: the African Hunting Dog, the African Painted Dog, the Cape Hunting Dog, and the Painted Wolf. Some species of the African Wild Dog lives in Northern Africa. They weigh around 20-25 kg (44-55 lb) and are about 60-75 cm (24-30 in) long. Their fur colour is a mix of brown, black, and white. This animal will be found in mostly savannas and arid zones, but they are sometimes in other places. They eat animals like gazelle's, impala's, reedbuck's, kob's, lechwe's, and sringbok's.
