Alpaca Recap
Alpaca's are a Llama like animal that live in Southern Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Northern Chile. There are two species of Alpaca; the Suri Alpaca and the Huacaya Alpaca. They live at an altitude of around 3500- 5000 m (11500- 16000 ft). They are around 81- 99 cm (32- 39 in) long and weigh about 48- 84 kg (106- 185 lb). They eat hay, grasses, and plants. Alpaca's are sheared once a year to make clothing.
