The Albatross is a large seabird that lives in the Southern Ocean and the Northern Pacific Ocean. They eat krill, fish, squid, and crustaceans. The Albatross is about 3.7 m (12 ft) long and weighs about 8.5 kg (18.7 lb). Sadly, Albatrosses are endangered as some species of the Albatross are almost extinct. Their breeding season is normally one year long and they will lay one egg every breeding season. The Albatross is one of the world's largest birds. They have white front feathers and black back feathers. The oldest Albatross species is the Layson Albatross, founded in 1956.
