Anoa Basic Facts

An Anoa is a mammal that lives in Indonesia. Their fur colour is brown and black and their scientific name is Bubalus Depressicornis. They are sometimes known as the Midget Buffalo or Sapiutan. This buffalo- like animal weighs between 150- 300 kg (330- 660 lb) and are around 90 cm (35 in) long. Anoa's are herbivores, so they eat grass, herbs, leaves, fruits, marsh, and aquatic plants. Their lifespan is around 31 years long.
