The addax is a mammal that lives in the Sahara Desert. They are sometimes known as the white antelope or the screwhorn antelope. The addax is a species of antelope. They eat grasses and leaves from any available bush or shrub. A male addax weighs about 110- 125 kg (220- 276 lb) and is about 105- 115 cm (41- 45 in) long. The female addax weighs about 60- 90 kg (130- 200 lb ) and is about 95- 110 cm (37- 43 in). In the winter, their fur colour is a greyish- brown but in the summer, it's white or sandy blonde. Most addax live in Morocco and Tunisia.
