Aye-Aye Recap

Hello again! It's me, Anthony, back with my next post, Aye-Aye Recap. Hope you enjoy it, so let's get on with the post!
An Aye-Aye is a small, creepy, animal with black and white shaggy fur and bright, big, yellow eyes. These mammals live in Madagascar. Their scientific name is Daubentonia Madagascariensis. Aye-Aye's weigh 2-3 kg (4.4-6.6 lb) and are 360-440 mm (14-17 in) long. They are suffering habitat loss, which could make them go extinct. These creepy little animals eat seeds, nectar, fruit, and fungi, so they are then omnivores. They have a lifespan of 20-23 years.
That's it for this week's animal! Next week we will be learning about the Babirusa. Stay tuned!

Aye-Aye Basic Facts

Hello everyone! It's me, Anthony, back with another post, Aye-Aye Basic Facts. Hope you enjoy so let's get on with it!
An Aye-Aye is "creepy" animal that is basically a lemur. It has white and black shaggy hair with big, bright, yellow eyes. It's scientific name is Daubentonia Madagascariensis. This animal is a mammal, like lemurs are. They weigh 2-3 kg (4.4-6.6 lb) and are 360-440 mm (14-17 in) long. Aye-Aye's eat seeds, fruit, nectar, and fungi, so they're omnivores. They have a lifespan of 20-23 years. One more thing I should say about Aye-Aye's is that they are losing their habitat because of other developments being built. Go check out this link about a recovery plan for the Aye-Aye's!

Axolotl Recap

Hello again! It's me Anthony, back with another post, Axolotl Recap. Let's start the recap!
An Axolotl is an amphibian that lives in Lake Xochimilco and Lake Chalco. It is a light animal, weighing about 3.6 kg (8 lb) and is only 30 cm (12 in) long! It's nickname is "The Walking Fish". The Axolotl's scientific name is Ambystoma Mexicanum. Their lifespan is short, being between 10- 15 years. They are white coloured with pink frills coming out of the top of them. Axolotl's eat worms, insects, small fish, and salamanders, which means they're carnivores.
That's it for this week's animal! Next week we'll be learning about the Aye-Aye. Stay tuned!

Sincerely,
Anthony

News About The Blog

Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I have been busy with school and I get home later now. I will try my best to keep on posting at a good pace. Anyways, I need to say a few more things. I will now be doing introductions to each post I put on the blog. I will also be adding an extra link in all Basic Facts posts for the "Bonus Question" I will be adding into the quiz to make it harder. So hopefully you are good at researching (it won't be an EXTREMELY challenging question)!
