An Anaconda is a large reptile (snake) that lives in South America, around tropical forests. They're the largest snake species in the world. They weigh about 227 kg (550 lb), which is heavier than a piano! Anaconda's are about 3.4- 6 m (9.8- 15 ft) long. They're lifespan is 10 years and they're diet is a carnivore. They eat fish, birds, tapirs, wild pigs, capybaras, and caimans. They can stay under water for about 10 minutes.
