Hello again! It's me, Anthony, back with my newest post, Babirusa Basic Facts. So without further ado, let's get on with the post!
A Babirusa is a pig/hog like animal with 99 kg (220 lb) of weight. Their scientific name is Babyrousa, it's similar to their real name, isn't it? These mammals live in the Indonesian Islands of Sulawesi, Togian, Burn, and Sulu. Babirusa's are 91-112 cm (3-3.7 ft long). They eat fruit, nuts, berries, leaves, and mushrooms, which makes them omnivores. They can be white or black in colour. These "pigs" can live up to 24 years in captivity.
